Books for the Writer's Bookshelf

A feature in WRITERS' Journal magazine is: "Books for the Writer's Bookshelf," (please see page 1 of our magazine—shown below). The books advertised on this page we have determined through review to be excellent tools for the writer. We feel these books offer "nuts and bolts" help for all writers.

This is an excellent venue for you to advertise your new book at a very reasonable cost. Because we have so many authors/publishers wanting to feature their new books, we only allow a one-time appearance of a particular book.

Rates for inclusion on this page are simple. We charge a $40.00 scanning and set-up fee to be paid in advance. This is for a one-time insertion only. You will need to send us a copy of the book for our review and for us to use it for scanning. (We cannot accept your scanned image, because the parameters and files are so varied.) The blurb we use in the ad we glean from promotional materials. If you have a particular wording you wish for us to use (up to seventy—70—words) you should send it to us along with your payment.

Large publishers may reserve space by prepaying for six insertions at only $200.00. This entitles the publisher to place six different books (one in each issue) on the page in six consecutive issues. Publishers may place more than one book on the page but they should call (218-346-7921) for guidelines.
