Submissions must be postmarked by the deadline date.
Entries postmarked after a deadline date will automatically be placed in
the subsequent contest.
Rules:
Contest is only open to amateur or aspiring photographers
of any age.
Photos can be of any subject matter (people do not have to be in the photo).
If people are included in the photo, names and addresses of each person must be included with each entry, or send a model release of each person in the photo.
Photos must be previously unpublished.
We accept high-quality prints in color or black-and-white (no slides please).
Name, address, and phone number of photographer must accompany each entry.
Entries will be judged by professional photographers on originality, composition, color, contrast, and quality of entry.
By submitting an entry, you grant (WRITERS' Journal) Val-Tech Media one-time publishing rights. Winning entries will be published in a future issue of the WRITERS' Journal.
(WRITERS' Journal) Val-Tech Media is not responsible for
the loss or damage of any photographs.
A SASE must be sent if you wish your entry to be
returned after the final judging.
For those without Web access, a winners list can be obtained by sending a SASE.
These guidelines supersede guidelines found elsewhere whether in print or online.
