Submissions must be postmarked by the deadline date. Entries postmarked after a deadline date will automatically be placed in the subsequent contest.

Submissions will not be returned

Rules:

Each poem may be no longer than 25 lines

Entries must be typed on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, submitted in duplicate.

Name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, if available should appear in the upper left corner of one sheet.

No name or address on duplicate.

Only original, previously unpublished stories accepted.

Copyrights to poems remain with author. WRITERS' Journal requires only one-time rights to winning entries.

Reading fee must accompany entries.

For those without Web access, a winner's list can be obtained by sending a #10 SASE.
